Al Bahah Province

 

 

Al Bahah Province is the smallest of the 13 provinces of Saudi Arabia with an area of 15,000 square kilometers. The capital of the province is Al Bahah.

Situated in the southwest of Saudi Arabia, Al Bahah has an enchanting natural beauty with valleys, plains, mountains, water falls, forests and a coastal plain (Tihama). The mountain range of Al-Sarawat, has an elevation of 1,500 to 2,450m above sea level and constitutes fog in the winter. It has a charming climate with temperature ranging from 12 to 23 degree Celsius.

The major cities of the province are Al Bahah, Beljarshy, Almandaq and Almekhwah. The Province is famous for its production of honey, in addition to its agricultural production of vegetables, grain, fruit, and dates.
