Al Bahah Province is the smallest of the 13 provinces of Saudi Arabia with an area of 15,000 square kilometers. The capital of the province is Al Baha.

Situated in the southwest of Saudi Arabia, Al Bahah has an enchanting natural beauty with valleys, plains, mountains, water falls, forests and a coastal plain (Tihama). Al-Sarat area in the east, the mountain range of Al-Sarawat, has an elevation of 1,500 to 2,450m above sea level and constitutes clouds and fog in the winter. The province of Al Bahah is surrounded by Makkah and Asir Provinces.

Depending on the geographic locations, the province has varied climates. Al Bahah has a charming climate with temperature ranging from 12 to 23 degree Celsius.

Al Bahah is one of the major tourist holiday resorts in Saudi Arabia which hails holiday makers from within and outside the country. Al Bahah is surrounded by major cities like Taif on the north, Bisha on the east, Abha on the south and Qunfuda, the Red Sea coast city on the west.

The Province is famous for its production of honey, in addition to its agricultural production of vegetables, grain, fruit, and dates.

Al Bahah, the " Pearl of the Resorts", has been named by the sherif of Makkah as the "Garden of Hejaz".
