Asir Province

Asir Province is located at the southwest of Saudi Arabia and is a border province with Yemen. It has the highest mountains and receives more rainfall than any other provinces in the country. The foggy highlands provide an interesting ecosystem for the coniferous trees to grow in abundance. Dense forests, cool temperature and steep mountains standing like Alps make it a queen of the provinces.

Abhah is capital of the province. The major cities of the province are Abhah, Khamis Mushayt and Bishah
